What's in your pockets on a night out?
What Kind of Wingman Would You Be?
NOW HIRING: Wingman, or wingwoman, or wingperson, we're flexible. Location: a crowded bar, a cousin's wedding or the frozen food aisle, depending on where love strikes. Responsibilities include hyping up your friend, remembering the crush's name, keeping the conversation alive and never, under any circumstances, mentioning the karaoke incident from last spring. Compensation is paid in free fries and eternal gratitude. Some travel required, usually to the other side of the room.
Every applicant brings a different skill set. Some candidates are walking pep rallies. Some arrive with a full strategy, secret hand signals and a backup plan for the backup plan. Some are so charming they accidentally walk away with the phone number themselves, which HR is still investigating. Others focus on the essentials, like knowing where the exits are and making sure everybody gets home safe.
This short interview will figure out which kind you'd be. Fifteen questions cover awkward silences, terrible draft texts, surprise song requests and questionable 1am decisions. There are no wrong answers, only wingmen who should stay away from the jukebox. Submit your application by taking the quiz below.
