Position: Coffee Person. Part time, full drama.

Requirements: the ability to pour a decent cup while customers discuss their love lives at full volume. Must tolerate regulars who sit in the same seats for a decade and never try anything new. Experience with an orange couch is a plus. Patience with psychiatrists who have strong opinions about foam is a bigger plus.

Monk's Cafe, with a booth where Jerry and George talk about nothing for nine seasons. Or Luke's Diner in Stars Hollow, which bans cell phones and serves coffee to people who treat it like oxygen.
