Table of Contents
Without further ado, it’s time to introduce some of the key players from the entire series. What would Haikyuu!! be without characters such as Hinata, “King of the Court” Kageyama, Yu Nishinoya, or Daichi Sawamura? The entire anime is packed with different traits and personalities.
Shōyō Hinata
Shōyō Hinata is the series’s main character, a Karasuno High School student. Hinata is an incredibly energetic, lively, and cheerful person. He is characterized by high openness and a friendly personality. He is very motivated to act and to achieve even the most challenging goals.
Daichi Sawamura
A team captain who worked hard for his skills. Daichi is an incredibly positive character; he can cheer up every member of the team. Also, he is caring and interested in his players.
Tobio Kageyama
King of the Court. A cold perfectionist, the absolute opposite of Hinata. Initially, he is an arrogant, selfish, self-centered character. However, over time, he realizes that he has to sacrifice his skills for the entire team’s benefit. He realizes that he will not be successful without cooperating with others.
Yu Nishinoya
Yu is an energetic boy who is incredibly focused on the game. Very charismatic and talkative. He is the backbone of his team, and the team trusts him completely. Sometimes he gets nervous easily but recovers quickly.
Kei Tsukishima
Kei has a slightly negative personality type. He doesn’t believe in his volleyball skills very much and thinks he has no chance against Hinata. He usually doesn’t respect his teammates and will show irritation at times when he’s with them for too long.
The obvious fact is that we only included a small percentage of characters that would be worth mentioning. However, it is impossible to describe each one separately, and every devoted fan of the series will undoubtedly know each character.
