This Japanese brand was founded by Sakichi Toyoda in 1918 and was later developed by his son. In the beginning, however, it was involved in the production of spinning looms, and in 1933 it started dealing with cars. At that time, the new logo also appeared, the three ovals consisting of the letter T. These three ovals symbolize three hearts – the customer, product, and technological progress. In addition, the Toyota logo consists of eight elements, which is quite valuable because, in Japanese symbolism, the number 8 means happiness and prosperity.
The company was founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William Durant, who played a key role in developing the brand’s logo. However, there are two versions of this story, and it is unclear which one is true—first reported by Chevrolet Pro Management Magazine, shared in 1986 by William’s wife. She said that William once saw a similar symbol on the wallpaper in one of the Paris hotels. He immediately tore it off and took it with him to show to his friends.
The second version was presented by William’s daughter, who, in the book “My Father” published in 1929, describes that the logo was drawn by her father during his daily kitchen work, entirely by accident.
The history of this brand began in 1948 when Ferruccio Lamborghini founded Lamborghini Trattori. The company started with the production of tractors. After an argument with Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio decided to build his own sports car. Ferrucio’s friend, Eduardo Miura, was a famous bull breeder. Ferruccio, fascinated by bullfighting and born as a zodiacal bull, decides to choose the silhouette of this animal for his company’s logo. The bull is supposed to symbolize power and endurance.
Interestingly, most of the models of this brand have names related to bulls or bullfighting.
The company was founded in 1917 by the aviation pioneer Chikuhei Nakajima. Although it was initially called the Nakajima Aircraft Company, after the end of World War II, it split into 12 separate companies. Six of these companies were united into Fuji Heavy Industries.
After the merger of the companies, a logo was chosen with a constellation of 6 stars in a circular ellipse. One of these stars is Subaru because one of the six united companies was involved in the automotive industry. In addition, the word Subaru means “to unite,” and it is the Japanese name for the Pleiades constellation.
