Which Riverdale Character Are You Most Like?

The CW

Riverdale may be based on one of the oldest comic book franchises. However, the modern-day characters and their unshakable personalities set the two apart. Which Riverdale character are you? Are you Archie, Betty, Jughead, or others?

CW’s Riverdale, written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, was based on the comic book Archie. Aguirre-Sacasa had worked on Archie Comics, which only made sense that he would create the adaptation for CW.

As we already mentioned in our Riverdale trivia quiz, the series is a supernatural show with mystery and crime sprinkled in. The cast stars some of the biggest names in the film industry. Lili Reinhart, Luke Perry, KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Ashleigh Murray, Camila Mendes, and Skeet Ulrich are just to name a few.

Aguirre-Sacasa partnered with Greg Berlanti (Dawson’s Creek), Sarah Schechter, Michael Grassi, and Jon Goldwater to executive-produce the series. The success led to 116 more episodes spanning over six seasons.

More About Riverdale

The Riverdale crew and cast traveled to Vancouver, British Columbia, to film the show on March 14, 2016. The first season was filmed over two weeks before the production team wrapped up.

The main setting was Pop Tate’s Chock’lit Shoppe, a small diner in Vancouver, Canada. The diner was the perfect fit for the show. To give the impression of realism, the production team ordered an 18-wheeler for the parking lot.

An aerial view of the town was pulled from the same stock footage utilized in Gilmore Girls and Pretty Little Liars. It was so meticulously done that viewers never caught on.

Season 1 reined in fewer viewers at 1.69 million than season 2 at 2.12 million. Over the next three seasons, viewership would drop to just a little over a million. CW announced season 7 would be a wrap-up.

The Ever Loveable Cast Of Riverdale

Archie Andrews

The character the entire franchise was modeled after is unique compared to Archie Comics. Some could say this is both good and bad.

Archie’s big screen character is no longer the happy-go-lucky kid he once was. He is now filled with mysterious darkness and more confusion than ever. On a good note, he does have a positive outlook on life.

Archie is under the impression that if he does good, the people will also be convinced to do good.

Betty Cooper

You won’t find a character on a dark, supernatural show that epitomizes the protagonist role more perfectly than Betty Cooper. Her personal beliefs and vocal judgments force her into an extrovert lifestyle.

Betty has an unshakable determination and the desire to accomplish success to the fullest. Some would classify her as the spitting image of Daenerys from Game of Thrones.

Jughead Jones

If Betty is the show’s extrovert, Jughead is undoubtedly the introvert. In fact, he is perhaps the only true introvert in the show. He nearly always finds himself alone and brooding because that is just who he is and how he thrives.

Jughead’s strong moral compass is definitely worth mentioning. He cautiously judges people while also trying to uncover their true inner motives. Being a cynic is not such a bad personality trait in the virtual world.
